Can happiness be designed and produced in series?
We visit the production site Thomas am Kulm and Rothbühl for the kick-off event.
Afterwards the participants will approach the project from two directions: theoretically and practically.
On the one hand, the mechanisms behind the state of happiness should be understood and will be: What does happiness and its derivatives in the form of opportunity, joy, cheerfulness, Contentment, love, etc. ?
And which promising objects are anchored in which cultures and which rituals go along with them? And/or are there rituals with which happiness can be forced, as it were?
On the other hand, the possibilities of the material will be explored through experimental work and expanded under consideration of new digital production possibilities.
Since individualisation or personalisation in the production process is closely linked to our question, we can rely on the professionalism and know-how of our cooperation partner Rosenthal.
